Introduction:

 

Today my Goal is to share with you insight from the Word of God that will give you some insight as to how we got here and where we can now go as we receive, apply and allow the Word to guide us as a people and as a church.

 

Main Text:

 

Acts 3:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.

 

 1Timothy 2:7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. Ro 9:1; 11:13; 15:16; Ga 1:16; Eph 3:7-8; 2Ti 1:11

 

GBN – Faithfully and sincerely: and by faith he means wholesome and sound doctrine, and by truth, an upright and sincere handling of it.

 

Websters 1828 Dictionary definition:

 

VER’ITY, n. [L. veritas, from verus, true.]

 

    1. Truth; consonance of a statement, proposition or other thing to fact. 1Tim. 2.

 

   2. A true assertion or tenet.

 

   3. Moral truth; agreement of the words with the thoughts.
